Gayla’s chosen genital herpes treatment

I have been living with genital herpes for nearly 6 years now and have tried various genital herpes treatments and prescriptions.  What I have found to work best for me is Valtrex at a dose of 500 mg twice per day and Dynamiclear.

Though Valtrex is the preferred antiviral medication, it is not an absolute guarantee that I will not ever get another outbreak.  In fact, I have an average of two outbreaks per year.  I have found that my outbreaks are directly linked to stress!  Not chocolate, caffeine or nuts, simply Stress!

During the times that I know my stress levels are higher, I increase my Valtrex dosage to 1g twice daily.  I will usually follow this dosage for about three days.  I will also increase my Valtrex dosage when I begin to feel those little prodromes that let me know something is about to happen.  Sometimes the Valtrex is enough to ward off the impending outbreak, but occasionally lesions to occur.

When lesions do result, I prefer a topical ointment while my Valtrex does it’s job from the inside.  Simply applying Dynamiclear twice a day with a q-tip eliminates the pain associated with an outbreak.  It’s easier to sit, wear jeans and function in my everyday life without cringing from time to time.

Order Dynamiclear

If you are taking Valtrex and finding that it is not acting affectively, you might consider a long look at your diet and how it affects your herpes outbreaks.  It could be playing a key role in contributing to recurring outbreaks.

I do recommend Choraphor through Herpesonline and do receive a small commission that supports the hosting and maintenance of the website, however, I would not recommend a product that I would not or do not use myself.
