Consumer Product Review – Herplex

I wanted to let you know about a product I found at WalMart of all places – Herplex. White & red bottle, about $10 for 90 tablets.

It’s a homeopathic treatment, which if you take at the first sign (tingling for me), will prevent most outbreaks from progressing any further. I was just diagnosed in October, and have had an outbreak every month right before my period. I was using Valtrex & Acyclovir for the first 2 outbreaks, but I have found Herplex to be just as effective in supressing an outbreak. If I take it at the first tingle, and continue for a few days, I won’t get any other symptoms.

Only during this last outbreak (which came on because I also had the flu,
weakening my immune system) did the Herplex not work totally. But I also didn’t take it for as many days as I should have, so its hard to say if it
was effective or not.
