Lawsuit: Morales Gave Ex Herpes

Posted on | July 23, 2007 | 1 Comment

Esai Morales has been sued by a former girlfriend who claims the NYPD Blue star assaulted her on numerous occasions and gave her herpes.

In her court documents, filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Elizabeth Mazzocchi alleges intentional and negligent transmission of a sexually transmitted disease, assault, battery and breach of oral contract. She is seeking unspecified damages.

Mazzocchi, who has engaged camera-ready attorney Gloria Allred as legal counsel, claims that Morales knew he had herpes, but continued to have sex with her without telling her.

As a result, she was left with “an incurable disease that will have associated medical expenses, pain and discomfort for the rest of her life.”

My thoughts

I can certainly see there being a suit for the assault, but if the couple dated and she willingly engaged in sex with Esai, she placed herself at risk.

All it takes is one time at the wrong time and anyone could end up with herpes.

The thing that pisses me off so bad is she and her attorneys make it sound as if she’s going to suffer for the rest of her life.

It’s been MONTHS since I had my last outbreak and there are times where I will not think about having it for days on end. Even as an STD Patient Advocate. Then some dumbass like this comes along and pushes me over the edge.

People with herpes don’t suffer unless they are dwelling on vindication against the person that gave it to them.

Mental anguish is far worse than the outbreaks themselves.
